The Future Is Decentralized

About Me

Greetings fellow cryptocurrency enthusiasts and welcome to CryptocurrencyX. This site is a simple portfolio of my work and a collection of my thoughts. I want to educate people on the issues with our current financial system. A system that is completely broken and transfers wealth from the lower and middle classes to the rich. Cryptocurrency has the potential to change that.

It is estimated that 2 billion people do not have access to a bank account or financial services, and those that do are always subject to third parties which they are forced to trust. Welcome to the cryptocurrency revolution, where, for the first time in history you have the opportunity to become your own bank. Transact directly with people around the world, at much lower costs and with greater speeds than any traditional bank.

Me, taking a break on a road-trip through Namibia

My name is Ryan, a web designer, cryptocurrency writer, and trader. I worked for many years in web development and traded on the Foreign Exchange markets in my spare time. Born and bred in Johannesburg, South Africa I absolutely love to travel and have travelled more than 20 countries and lived in 3. I don’t blog here as much as I initially hoped. You can, however, follow along with my work as a Staff Writer over at CoinCentral. I am currently also helping out with digital marketing at the¬†Ethbits¬†cryptocurrency exchange.
